The only part of Coney Island NY that is closing is Astroland. The Cyclone pictured above will open April 6th for 2009 Season. The Wonder Wheel will also start operating on April 6th. Deno's is another amusement park in Coney Island that will continue to operate along with the boardwalk shops - bar & Grills etc.
