You know it's kinda hard when Republicans are going out of thier way to deny any bit of legislation that is passed. For fucks sake, Al Franken wrote a bill that allowed people who were raped on the job to sue their employers and every Republican voted AGAINST the bill! The Public health care bill would have been much better in its initial form, instead it was bastardized and raped as Obama's attempt to bring the two parties closer together. It's now obvious that's not going to happen. That is why Obama is forcing bills through. It's not that it's "what we don't want", because people were actually FOR the health care bill as a whole, he has to force it through because Republicans are just going to drag their feet on every piece of legislation so that nothing gets done, and in 2012 they can say "See? nothing happened with him. Elect us again so we can bring back Bush-style politics." If that does happen, I'm beginning to think the Mayans may have been right.

Since Manos: Hands of Fate and Plan 9 From Outer Space are being thrown around, I'd be amiss if I didn't tell everyone that THIS movie has been spoofed from the same people who did Mystery Science Theater 3000. They're now called Rifftrax. I'm actually considering getting the Twilight Rifftrax. In fact, if you went to their Christmas Shorts extravagansa a couple weeks ago, they sent you a song from their group The Rifftones called "Sparkly Vampires". Definitely worth a look.

What gets me is how everyone is buying into the Faux News propoganda. They're so bad even the Nazis would go "Hey man...that's just not right."...only in German. It's hilarious that Bush assraped this country for 8 years, and let's not mix words here...he did just that, and everyone expected Barack Obama to turn shit around in less than a year. Are you kidding me? Obama has already set the timeline to withdraw from Iraq. He's focusing on the one area we should've been focusing on the entire time. Afghanistan! Because of Bush's warmongering we got involved in another war we had no business being in. If we had focused on getting the people behind 9/11 instead of going for oil, we'd probably not have ANY wars going on right now at all. Although I will say this...thank God McCain/Palin didn't win. We'd still be in Iraq and Afghanistan, but would probably have Iran and North Korea thrown into the mix now also. And as silly as Biden can be, I shudder to think what would happen with Sarah "Hey look! IT'S RUSSIA!" Palin in the White House. Seriously, she's whoring herself out like she's trying to get a reality show on E! She's an absolute joke.

Personally, if they were to make a third Batman movie, I'd like the villain to be Harley Quinn. Seeing as how The Joker was supposed to return for the next Batman movie, and no actor would be stupid enough to try and fill the shoes Heath Ledger left for that role, a logical ploy would be to bring Harley in instead of the Joker. Being a different character, they wouldn't have to worry about filling Ledger's shoes, but on the flip side, they are free to draw heavily from the character.
