So are you saying that spirituality is inseparable from superstition and mysticism? Or have I missed the point of your comment. If so, please correct me; if not, then I disagree most vehemently.

I'm using my one vote to request more bacon on the Baconator. Thanks for picking up the tab, Jon.

You people are utter fools with terrible eyes and no experience with photo-manipulation. Look at the goddamned lighting on her and then compare it to the room; if they didn't take her picture in that environment, they took it in one identical to it. If you know anything about realism in graphic arts, you know that realism in lighting is the holy grail. Apply then the razor of Occam to your retarded theory and tell me which is more likely: she was photoshopped into a scene with identical lighting to the one she was originally photographed in, or some stage of color grading and touch-ups on the image used Lanczos Resampling thereby sharpening perceived edges to the point that ass-talking feebs think it's been lasso tooled? For real though, look at those earmuffs. It will be a sad day when Charlize stops being hot like this.
  • Comment on Babylons (2012-08-07 05:59:01)
I do like the thought that was put into the first three; after each one is destroyed or mysteriously vanished, the fifth one is made on the cheap. Still though, that's a shitload of money to sink into four behemoth spacestations, let alone five. I think JMS should have been more realistic and called the show "Babylon 2" or "Babylon 3" at the most.
  • Comment on The New ED-209 (2012-08-07 05:53:31)
I'd have to see it from other angles, but the redesign on the main body seems to have removed any 'personality' that the original design had. It didn't have a 'mouth' so much as an inlaid radiator that gave the impression of a frowning maw. The old design had a lot of thought put into it, not only mechanically but as a character. ED-209 was supposed to be dangerous but over designed and comically flawed, hence the stair scene. This one just looks like someone drew a kill-bot over the old silhouette without giving much thought to it's use in the film, which hopefully says more about how little ED-209 is involved in this new film as anything like a character, and less about how rushed and ill conceived this retelling may be.

I'm perplexed about Gordon Freeman being there. He sort of stands out among all that nintendo.

This sounds like Avast. Just turn the notification sound off in the settings, I've been doing it since I got that one perforated ear-drum from the virus warning sound a couple of years back.

Probably saying something about the space breast implants she got in between this game and the last.
  • Comment on Sam Harris Quote (2012-07-02 01:45:21)
It's fairly depressing how wrong many of you commentators have taken this quote. Appeal to Authority? Nigga, please.
  • Comment on The trick is not minding that it hurts (2012-06-27 09:02:55)
Lots of people have taken issue with how many (blatantly) unanswered questions are left by the end of Prometheus. I've had a great time puzzling them out with a couple of repeat viewings and discussions with friends and online people. I've come to the opinion that many people didn't like the film because it didn't spoon-feed them the answers. Battleship is perhaps a Sci-Fi film that would suit them better.

Warehouse fuck-up would be more accurate to what we see. Also, shiiiiit.
