Family was on a world tour in Feb. of 1979 and I remember playing Space Invaders in Tokyo Japan. Don't exactly remember where we were, but it was a single console and it was amazing. It was well into 1980 before I saw one back where I lived in WV. - Comment on Centralia (2013-10-27 21:55:47)
That was the point. This past weekend in Westmoreland County PA there was a boil water advisory due to a problem with the filtration system. Some of the comments the local message boards were questions if it was due to fracking. Yes, they fracked through the filtration system. I was thinking, what if we poured the unwanted frack water down the hole where the fire is in Centralia. Get rid of the water and maybe put out the fire. Kill 2 birds with one stone! Yes, I'm joking. - Comment on Centralia (2013-10-27 00:30:42)

Technically not mine... We got it when I was 15 (1985), brought it in on a rollback and got it running after a few days. After going through the brakes and carbs it was road-worthy. My dad must have been crazy because I was driving it before I got my license. As far as I can remember it was fun to drive, but also a chore. Dad had it up to around 120 once, but as an inexperienced driver I didn't do anything crazy. I took it on a date once, but the girl was NOT impressed as she has expected to go in my car (Supra at the time) As a side note the car was originally imported by the owner of Jack Daniels distillery. Have other pictures if interested. - Comment on Pipeline Trash vehicles (2011-04-04 19:01:13)

Just a simple double exposure with an old 35mm SLR film camera, just turned out pretty good. No babies were harmed in the process, but you ought to see the picture of me holding my youngest son upside down by one leg beside the "Do not feed the alligators" sign.
