Fail. "We can't trust what this man says, he's a thief!" <-- Ad hominem "He's a jackass." <-- Personal attack

The basic idea behind this is that there are no other countries in the world, and somehow what happens in those countries doesn't set a precedent. "If we make guns illegal, then everyone will start making the most insanely powerful guns on the planet, and crime will skyrocket!" Yeah, except that's the complete opposite of what happens in every other westernized nation that does that. That's to say nothing of the all or nothing approach.

    Like the Queen reference.

Ray Stevenson? From HBO's Rome and the Punisher movie? Okay, then.

Yep. Confirmed by director to be some fan art or something. On another note, I actually agreed with you on something. I'm going to go slam my dick in a drawer.

Basically 1984 with one more party. People should read that book. People use it as shorthand for a lot of stupid stuff, which makes people develop a knee-jerk reaction of disregarding what they say, but it's a surprisingly prescient read of what the future would be. "Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia."

If there's one product where America is considered the place to buy it from, it's cigarettes. There's all kinds of cigarettes here with "American tobacco" that I never saw before moving. Casually clothing, like jeans, is probably second. Or tv/movies. The only real local shows on television are the news and the dozens of documentary type shows they have every day.

They tried that new actor/new storyline while acknowledging the original with Hulk. While the second Hulk movie was a lot better, it also made it hard for me to care about the characters. They're going to do the same thing, again, for the Avengers movie with yet another Hulk. Then you have stuff like Superman Returns, Batman Forever... I doubt they're going to do the whole long origin this time, but if they make it something like the original Batman, where we're introduced to the character without a long backstory, then it could work.

Gantz, right? Thought it would be a cool series, but it had that anime problem of everyone standing around, twitching and gasping, while someone yells at the guy to do something. After another episode spent 10 minutes on this 'intensity,' I gave up. I don't care how interesting the idea is.

That comic confused the crap out of me until I reread the title.

They're all fake. The man was registered independent. http://azstarnet.com/news/local/crime/article_78272a23-fe75-5bee-ba38-f8171cda3fb7.html Which, in my mind, is better evidence that this could be less political than it's made out to be... but the con base insists on lying as if it will change reality. It's sad. More so, because I expect that they actually think it works. Guess it worked well enough during the Bush era.
