Obviously from Israel. Check out the Hebrew writing on the sign (under the English letters). Best part is, i see this kinda stuff all the time. Although you can tell she's not a weapon's instructor or anything; she has no scope and a "banana" clip (the way the magazine is sideways is the giveaway). Banana clips are mocked in the IDF by combat soldiers (like me) for being jobnik paraphanalia

This was very obviously taken at the Israeli Armored Core museum, which is located in Latrun, Israel. Note the steps leading up to the tanks, the woman asking the soldier to take a picture, the kid climbing on the tank. Israel today uses mainly the Merkava tank which is Israeli made. The museum is awesome- its got a ton of Russian made tanks captured in Israel's various wars, as well as the British and American made tanks sold to Israel in the 60's and 70's. It's even got armored cars and jeeps from the pre-state days and the 1950's.

Wow, I'm happy my post got so many comments. A shame that some of them are so dumb though. I'm not going to go into the politics, I'll just mention that army life sucks, there are good and bad people on both sides of the matter, and peace is possible. And I live in Tel Aviv, best city in the world :)
