Coors Light is like making love in a canoe: it's fucking close to water!

The most important show from the same era is missing... Lost In Space. @traptin85: The 3rrd one is the Howdy Doody Show and the last one is Rawhide (yeah, I'm old)
  • Comment on Vintage Wonder Woman (2009-02-25 13:23:25)
Wonder Woman flew around in an invisible jet. I always wanted to see her in an invisible costume as well...
  • Comment on Won't someone please think of the younglings? (2009-02-23 13:39:59)
I will do my best to try to think of the younglings every day as I wander through MCS. I really will. I swear it.

See the big green tent next to them? That's where they were 10 seconds before that photo (and probably 10 seconds after as well). There isn't a single snow flake on any of their swimsuites, so they hadn't been standing out there long. Believe me - I'm from Buffalo and I've taken pictures like this before. Also, you can have the one in red. I'll take both of the dark haired beauties in blue and black!
  • Comment on there's an Alien in my building! (2009-02-17 16:27:08)
You guys are all quoting the wrong movie. Isn't this a statue of the one from Alien3 where it gestated inside a dog instead of a human, so it took on dog-like qualities from the DNA? This is Rumor Control. Here are the facts!

I figured I'd find comments about the TX ren fair, or ren fairs in general, but to find this has turned into a discussion of how good/bad British movies are???? C'mon people! BTW, Shaun of the Dead, The Full Montie, 28 Days Later, and A Clockwork Orange were all AWESOME movies!
  • Comment on Call of Cthulhu's Reach (2009-02-03 13:13:30)
This is a screen capture from the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society silent movie, filmed in B&W, deliberately scratched up (a process they call "Mythoscope") to make it look like it was filmed in the 1920's. I thought it was a pretty awesome film, actually, and very true to the original story. http://www.cthulhulives.org/cocmovie/

Oh, I get it now. Tiki just wants us to all be logged in when we browse through his pages. I will admit that I'm here pretty much daily, but I rarely log in unless I want to submit an image or post a comment. Whatever...

It is indeed called Fire Cupping, and it isn't just practiced in foreign countries. I saw lots of people doing this just last weekend in Maryland. Alcohol is swished around inside the cup (or jar in this case) and then set on fire just before the cup is placed on the skin. It doesn't burn the skin, but it creates a vacuum that sucks the skin right up into the cup. When done by a skilled professional it is much like acupressure, but it can also be excruciatingly painful if done by someone in the BDSM community. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cupping
  • Comment on Worldwide IQ (2008-08-14 16:21:36)
I might believe that this is a map of how good the education is in each country, but education and IQ are not the same thing. How much you know and how well you can think and reason are two completely independant things. I know an awful lot of highly educated people that couldn't reason their way out of a paper bag, and I know a very few under-educated people who should be considered geniuses.
