i don't think recognizing some stupid ass thing from something so stupid as cartoon network is being out of touch with the culture. in fact, i'm GLAD they didn't know what it was at first. I like the way schulzbrianr put it: "Anyone over a certain age (say 35?) who watches Cartoon Network and knows what Aqua Teen and Adult Swim are is probably some stoner tard who lives in the basement of his parent’s house" to be honest i think it's a little sad if anyone over 21 would watch it, but that's just me...

well i don't know for how long Britain's had that kind of proportional representation, but if they didn't adapt it "long ago" it's because things take time to develop. the US couldn't be that, because it can only work in smallish states like those of Europe. when a state has over 300 million people in it every group couldn't possibly be represented. it's the same reason we in the US don't have pure democracy, it just wouldn't work. we have a republic, which seems to work just fine for such a large country.

i think we've seen enough about this incident, thank you. everyone likes making fun of the authorities for taking everything too seriously because everyone likes to think they're an individual and not "conforming" to them. but everyone ends up being an asshole, anyway. i'm in no way blaming Adult Swim and saying they shouldn't have done it, but why doesn't it fill people with confidence that authorities respond to everything rather than seizing an opportunity to criticize. i live in boston and i'm glad it was taken seriously, because i know it means they do take everything seriously. so i think everyone should shut the fuck up.

frequently the way a word is said and the exact spelling don't relate, but feel free to avoid criticism with sarcasm. also, when has perfect grammar mattered on the internet? having said that it could be argued that spelling doesn't matter either, but that's only when one is trying to shorten a word. spelling "divide" like "devide" is just plain stupidity. schulzbrianr, i hope you're not equating missing another person's errors with the actual errors. in fact, with that post, you've only proven my point. and caio, you responded to one criticism, but how about how your post doesn't really make sense? where are you from, anyway?
