In Canada: Everything come packaged in metric but when cooking we use tablespoon and cup. We measure speed in Km/h but long distance in miles. we weight things in metric and people in lb and kg. We measure horizontal things in metric and vertical thing in feet. Weather outside is in C but we use F for cooking.

I just drank a lot of wine at a diner with family and I actually though i was seeing double for real for a second.
