Why are there no car lights? I assumed there would be a stream of lights across the bridge. - Comment on Another Zombie Survival Sheet (2010-10-29 14:44:05)

@Gary Scenario: Also remember that the bible isn't a miraculous book. It is penned, compiled and edited by men. Do I believe in the parables and stories of the bible to be true events, such as the story of Jonah and the Whale? No. Do I believe that the lessons of morality that can be found in the bible are guiding lights for my life, yes. Do I pick and choose, yes. Does it make me a non-believer in God or a bad Christian, no. Do I look down on other people, no. Do the parts that I take make me feel good, no, actually they make me feel bad that I often fail to live up to such simple principles as care for the sick, the homeless and the needy. - Comment on Armageddon Mag (2010-08-29 17:07:34)
The .308 was what Eugene Stoner originally envisioned the Army purchasing. Old promo videos show it being used as the MG that the round is currently used for on a bipod mounted AR-10 (the market name for 7.52x51 chambering. Having personally carried 1000 rounds of extra M240 ammo when my AG went down in training, I am very happy the military opted for the 5.56 chambered AR-15 to be adopted as the M16. Those rounds are fucking heavy. - Comment on Russia, circa 1910 (2010-08-27 20:57:58)
I remember reading about Prokudin-gorskii in a magazine once. http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/empire/making.html It's incredible, the ingenuity of man. - Comment on 20% window tint in my room (2010-08-27 17:23:31)
House tint would be awesome, it might actually save on your cooling bill as well. Car front window tint, fucking stupid. Fucking stupid. If someone actually bumped into YOU in a car accident they could file a lawsuit against you placing the blame on you as your visibility was reduced. I came across a court case where this happened. The court found the party that actually caused the accident (lane change on a highway) not guilty as the defendant was found at fault for having negatively affected his ability to react in a responsible manner. If you want to block the view of the inside of your car, buy a front window cover. I have one on my S4, it keeps the temp down. - Comment on Goofiest MoFos Ever (2010-08-22 21:04:50)
