Reboot your original comment isn't exactly true. BlackBerry use is definitely more geared towards the business world. The U.S. Gov't and military allow users to only use blackberry phones if they desire to get gov't e-mails on their private phones due to the security measures in place from RIM.

I do not believe 1 BN people have been enriched by apple products. And most of those peoples interaction with Apple has been music players, not computers. If iTunes didn't run on PC, the iPod would fail and legions of their customer base would dissapear. Star Trek esque though? No, not quite. Shit we have in the military, that's star trek esque but that is coming from defense contractors, not apple.

see David Goggins on youtube. FTR my advice was for reducing your 2mile run time, the cardio event of the Army Physical Fitness Test. The official formula for increasing your speed is to take your goal 2mile run time, lets say conservatively 14 minutes, and divide that by 8. So 14min*60sec/min=840 seconds. Divide that by 8 so that [840(sec/2mil)]/[ 8 (400meterintervals/2mile)=105 seconds/400mInterval] Subtract 5 seconds from each interval (because the goal is to run faster) so you now have 100 seconds/400mInterval or 1:40. Repeat 8 times for 2 miles then cool-down by stretching. The same can be done for 800m intervals for more low-intensity cardio, only divide by 4 and subtract 10 from each interval.

That is actually the best way to get faster, interval training isn't a new concept. However this poster doesn't address a much more important topic and this is of rate. Just "jogging" doesn't necessarily mean you are exerting yourself. Sure, you might be able to run for a long time continuously, but I can walk for longer. Really you want to mix balls to the wall sprinting for a short period (maximum exertion) with active rest for 2x the length of your exertion. Example, run a 400m interval at approximately 1:40 then walk for 3:20. Repeat 6-8 times 2x / week.

And what, the U.S. military doesn't have cuts in its budget as well. The military budget IS APPROVED BY CONGRESS. And yes, I am biased, but there are so many systems and checks that go into acquiring a product it is mind-boggling. When the military spends money on something, its because they need it. Contrast that with education systems, where every kid is "valued" as a student, when it is clear by middle school that some students will never go to college and should be taught a vocation instead of a H.S. diploma. And let's not even get into the muddy topic of H.S. sports. I played 3 varsity sports for 4 years in H.S., and when contrasted with my time playing club sports in the summer, I would have rather played private league sports than school sports. Cut athletics, keep gym classes, and see the difference it makes.

Oh that's cute, a machine pistol. "D'awwwwwwwwwwwwww" And you're holding it sideways, such an efficient way to hold it. My M4 fires full auto, it's soooo not cool. In fact, it's less cool than placing well aimed rounds down range or at a target. If you want to fire a full auto anything, go get an auto nerf gun at wal-mart and chase a cat, way more entertaining than firing an auto weapon at nothing.
