2012.Much has been made of this.The world is not going to end on this date.Metallurgy:they hammered raw gold. But did not develop bronze or iron technology.They had the lama as transport,not the wheel.They had nothing even resembling(you will defer on this) advanced mathematics(think what China had,more thoughtful than the west at this period).Astronomy for pre columbian civilizations has always been exaggerated.Much of what has been said is pure speculation.They were very limited in comparison to both they West and East.They never even figured out mortar.They did have an affinity for fitted stone.Research this at length.

2012.My ass.They had no idea about metallurgy(forget gold).They knew not the wheel.Counting was primitive.No phonetic representation.They had a very low order of astronomy.And please don`t compare their blood thirst to contemporary Western standards of behavior.Pre Columbian "civilization" was primitive and barbaric by Western and far Eastern standards at best.Hell,the Chinese were far ahead on us.
