The Unknown Soldier isn't that new of a "hero." The character's been around since the 60s, but he gets reinvented every couple of years.

These have been around for quite awhile. I stumbled upon them back in 2001 on this awesome website dedicated to movie stars in Japanese commercials: http://www.japander.com/japander/schwarz.htm - Comment on megatron takes a picture (2009-08-01 13:36:52)
Heh heh, awesome Joker reference! - Comment on superboy wondergirl and krypto have a moon picnic (2009-07-29 20:31:16)
DC can call him Superboy again now. All of the details about the agreement between DC and the Siegels haven't been revealed yet, but at least we got the name back. - Comment on unicorn fucking a dolphin tattoo (2009-07-28 20:04:11)
Wow, those are some pretty specific gay tidbits. I think you win +10 gay points for being able to list those off, especially the ABBA song. - Comment on batman and robin wallpaper (2009-07-28 17:37:48)
Pfft, I've got the divine protection of Alan Moore on my side to protect from hack writers like Morrison. - Comment on green lanterns mom is in a stove (2009-07-28 05:30:05)
I don't even think Major Force is capable of rape. He's just living energy in a metal suit that the government created. He doesn't even wear clothes over his metal skin, so he's all smooth like a Ken doll. Maybe if later on, the government decided to make him an anatomically correct metal skin suit... then he could rapinate all kinds of women. - Comment on batman and robin wallpaper (2009-07-28 05:22:08)
Burn it with fire! Fuck you Grant Morrison! - Comment on green lanterns mom is in a stove (2009-07-27 21:06:08)
That wasn't really Kyle's mom in the oven. Major Force had a mannequin that looked like Kyle's mom made and shoved it into the oven for effect. She did die later on, killed by Sinestro Corps member Despotolis, a sentient virus. - Comment on Batman BAMS Supes (2009-06-28 16:00:28)
It's from the Batman: Hush storyline. Batman had tracked Poison Ivy to Metropolis, and it turns out she'd taken control of Superman. Luckily, batman's so paranoid, anytime he goes to Metropolis he brings his kryptonite ring (the ring was originally Lex Luthor's, but Supes gave it to Bats in case he should ever go bad or be taken over). - Comment on Batman Wins (2009-06-28 15:55:06)
No, Batman always wins. Even if, like, the moon turned evil, and was being hurled toward the earth by a Pre-Crisis Superman, Batman would still win. - Comment on Old Superheroes (2009-06-26 17:18:54)
Because DC > Marvel The more important question is, why is Hulk wearing Daisy Dukes, with his testicle hanging out? - Comment on Batman Sinstro Lantern (2009-06-19 05:31:18)
Joker is way too unpredictable to join any of the Corps. Sometimes he can instill fear, but sometimes he's just out for a laugh. After the Sinestro Corps War, a yellow ring did try to recruit Scarecrow from Arkham, but Hal Jordan and John Stewart were on hand to intercept it. - Comment on Dirty Magic Word (2009-06-17 05:47:12)
The girl sitting on Captain Marvel is his sister, Mary Marvel. This is from the god awful series Final Crisis, where writer Grant Morrison basicallly takes a giant shit on everything in the DC universe. Mary Marvel was the sweetest, most innocent character in all of comicdom. She could make the kids from Archie look like a bunch of crack whores by comparison. So Morrison decided to have her turn evil by joining the evil New God, Darkseid. The Marvel family get their super powers by yelling the name of the mystical wizard, "SHAZAM!" The "dirty magic word" Mary is referring to is that she now says "DARKSEID!" to get her new evil powers and costume. The lines of dialog don't really make sense in any context, as Morrison likes to throw out random ideas without explaining ANY of them. When other writers try to fill in the gaps left by Morrison (the series Countdown to Final Crisis was supposed to do that), Morrison will bitch and complain that the writers did it wrong, but fails to elaborate on how to do it the right way. - Comment on Atari Adult Video Game - Custer`s Revenge (2009-04-19 07:32:32)
This game is kinda fun, in a twisted way. You play General Custer, who's only wearing boots, a neckerchief, and a cowboy, and is sporting a huge boner. On the other side of the screen is a naked Indian woman tied to a cactus. You have to move Custer past a barrage of arrows toward the Indian to rape her against the cactus.
