I don't know if any of you MCS viewers can definitively call the election either way right now, smart as we know you all are. My husband sez Obama's got it sewed up, but what about all those voters who voted for Bush 4 yrs. ago. They gonna go to the Obama camp? No. They're gonna vote McCain. So it's gonna be close. Palin IS cute. Former beauty contestant. Also pro-life. Which neither Lieberman nor Ridge (two better-known possible VP candidates) were. Don't discount the "social issue" vote. McCain isn't.

It WAS Body Worlds that had some controversy. Most of the bodies were from China and it was impossible to verify if all the people or their families had, in fact, freely donated the bodies or whether they were just acquired by the authorities -- i.e., derelicts and deceased prisoners. Anyway, that was the gist of the controversy.

I think this map is skewed, or else the questions are. I'd like to see exactly what questions were asked. Generally I don't think standardized tests are racist, but in this case, maybe. It doesn't make Africa come out too well. I did think it was funny US was only 90 - 99, though. Hahaha.

I used to live in Omaha. My dad worked for the military at SAC headquarters working at the Severe Weather Center. Oh, no, I've said too much . . . Yeah, they get a lot of weird turbulent activity in the upper air there. My hubby actually outran a tornado in KS. Cool. Twister!
