It's ok because no matter how many versions they make to confuse people, nobody's buying it anyway. After using it the other day, I can see why. The damned thing trips all over itself and gets in your way trying to 'help' you. It's like they took that retarded paper clip assistant from Office and made an entire OS out of it. All I'm hearing about it is that people are wiping their new computers and installing XP onto them or like two people I know, they're becoming elitist faggots. To be fair though I heard you have to tweak the firewall settings in the new Mac OS to be sure it's secure... Yeah, that's the only bad thing I've heard about it. But then Apple is the richest corporation in the world and has 95% of the computing market so you'd expect a quality product from them. What? That's Microsoft? Awww man. In that case I suppose there's no excuse for their new OS. And no matter how much people defend them. There is no excuse. Seriously, if they worked for you, you'd have fired them by now and you know it.

Say the average worker makes $30,000 per year. 350x that would be 10,500,000. Say that executive runs a company that has 15,000 employees. If he keeps a million dollars for himself that year and divides the rest equally as a bonus for every employee, then every employee would get a $633 bonus. Not bad. If there were only 5,000 employees, each would get $1,900. Isn't a million enough? Where is the heart? The sense of social responsibility? The desire to help those that got you your million dollars that year? Oh, right... that money is tied up in the fifth house and the sixth car and the seventh boat. I hate rich people. Now I know why so many of them kill themselves and leave notes about how even all their money couldn't make them happy. Maybe because they didn't try making anyone else happy with it.

Always remember that anyone with truly a scientific mind must agree with the old saying: "Absence of proof is not proof of absence". Nobody who claims to be a scientist or a reverend can ridicule others' beliefs or experiments because until they become all-knowing, they don't know anything for sure. This is why I'm agnostic. I figure if God wanted me to believe badly enough he'd stop by for his birthday dinner at least once. 'Till then I'll just be a good person and help other people. Even he can't argue with that.

Caio, if you're not joking, you're the biggest idiot on the internet. How you could know what Godwin's Law means and not know what fascism is seems impossible. Considering that even in the dictionary it says "Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach.", Why in the hell would anyone describe their own government in that way? But I suppose that considering the fact that I've had to quote the dictionary of all things in this thread, tells me that the people with whom I'm arguing can't be well read anyway. Start by learning what words mean and then read about history, economics, religion... maybe go to college or something... then we'll talk.

I'm not sure that I understand the comment from iddqd that started all of this. I mean, this isn't a quote from 1984. And are we supposed to enjoy being spied on and having our rights eroded? But maybe he also booed the headline this morning that said the domestic spy satellites are being held up because of privacy concerns. Yup, those 'crazy' 'liberals' want their privacy in (of all places) the land of the free. Wow, they must be pretty 'liberal' wanting to hang onto their freedom, especially when the definition of CONSERVATIVE is: "holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation". While Iran is a great example, Saddam wasn't our enemy at the time we gave him weapons. And I don't think mentioning the corporations that traded with Hitler is relevant since neither Ford nor Tom Watson ever ran this country. And the support for fascism is still strong in this country; Appropriately enough it shows as red on maps around election time.
