I don't know . I'm still looking forward to it, and I'll probably go see it one of the first nights it's out, but a lot of the charm of the book for me at least was that it was a retrospective look at what had happened during and after. From what I've heard this pretty much drops that, and basically chronicles Brad Pitt's race against time to save the world. Granted the book would have been impossible to film, but still.
