I love EVE! I tried the free 14-day trial, and the only reason I didn't start paying was because I decided that if I started I would never finish grad school. Now that I'm about to graduate I've been thinking about picking it up again. Especially since they've made it look even more gorgeous than before.

Nice Porsche and MGA! - Comment on Finally equal (2008-06-25 00:53:58)
Wow. I had almost forgotten that MCS was just like the rest of the Internet. Thankfully this string of petty bickering and ad hominem attacks has brought me back to reality. God bless you, Internets. Also, huzzah for George! - Comment on Gianormous Spiders (2008-06-18 00:40:58)
As someone who is moving to Florida in a month, this is not the kind of things I like to to hear. Normally, I'm pretty friendly towards spiders, and even large ones are neat to watch...unless they're on you. Then, yes, I think I might turn into a little girl. - Comment on aliens (2008-06-18 00:36:00)
I think someone has missed the continuing quote here. It's been too long since I've seen this movie. I'm going to be very disappointed if no one has created a power loader by the time I die. - Comment on MultiMoon View (2008-06-06 15:33:11)
If planets that large are that close together, I think there's going to be some bad shit going down soon. - Comment on Pancake Glasses (2008-06-05 00:36:51)
I nominate pedantic for the "random awkward comment" award. - Comment on Grape Drank (2008-06-05 00:35:14)
Hmmm...grape drink from a dairy. Now I REALLY trust it. - Comment on The Blob Movie Poster (2008-06-04 22:53:00)
I remember seeing this movie as a kid, and laughing uncontrollably at the ridiculous theme music. If I remember correctly, it's almost a jingle...not at all what you would expect for something that's supposed to be a horror movie. - Comment on Collections of Collections (2008-06-01 13:00:55)
I think acid-induced warehouse of weird is a perfect description for The House on the Rock. I went in there once with my family, and I think it took me about 2 hours to re-adjust to reality by the time we made it out of there. The carousel with the red lanterns and the strange, demonic horses was a particular favorite. I think some of the collections in there are awesome, but they are arranged so poorly that they give me some kind of metal overload. - Comment on Which would protect her health best? Yes, because most girls love carrying around loaded 9mm's as an accessory. - Comment on McBush (2008-05-29 09:12:19)
Perhaps Clive Anderson is actually the result of an experiment to create a Bush/McCain hybrid? - Comment on Hailmary for President (2008-05-28 16:28:04)
Let me be the first to say that I have no idea what this is about. - Comment on Indiana Jones And The Crystal Skull Russian Bitch From hell With a Machine Gun (2008-05-24 23:22:53)
@Super Jay Amen! I just got back from seeing the movie, and I loved it for what the Indiana Jones series was supposed to be: an adventure film. After all, these movies were based on 1930's adventure serials that really didn't have to have anything to do with reality. After all, as lazlow had pointed out, the other artifacts that Indy has found weren't any less supernatural or weird than this one. The only thing that bugged me was the whole flying-saucer thing...if they had just made the ship look at least a little different I would have liked it better, but anyway, still a good addition to the Indy saga in my book. - Comment on Ron Paul (2008-05-24 22:53:01)
@wizardoffahz Why is it sad that the best Republican out there is a Libertarian? It seems to me that the Libertarians are just espousing the same message that the Republicans are supposed to: small, non-intrusive government. It's just that the Republicans today say they are for small government, but that never shows through in their actions.
