Awesome! I'm headed for navy recruit training April 25th. What service you joining? - Comment on the USA has been at war for 209 years (2012-02-24 07:07:31)
Tallied the numbers. By these dates, not double-counting for the cold war era conflicts (since the poster talkes about years, period, not years-per-war or something), we've been at war for 99 years. And a lot of these dates are very, very, off on the high end of the scale. - Comment on Apocalypto Comic (2010-10-22 22:32:04)

Answer: It cannot take off without foward motion. However, the wheels are there only to hold it up until it takes off. They spin freely. Thus, no matter how fast the treadmill ran, it wouldn't matter because the wheels are not connected to the plane by anything but ball bearings. They would simply spin faster, with no kinetic energy,(besides a very small amount of friction) i.e. movement, being transferred to the airframe. If they WERE connected, the plane's situation is hopeless. But as they are not, all the pilot has to worry about is the treadmill handlebars destroying the wings. - Comment on Bitches DK bout muh 96' Jimmeh! (2009-08-14 22:24:29)

Truly awesome. But the big hexogonal blob under the Dreadnaught kinda ruined it...
