I don't think anyone thought the USA wouldn't be a contender. They have the best goaltender in the NHL and an incredibly young and fast team. Also, am I the only one who thinks double medalling in a single event is retarded? I know we (Canada) did it at least once, but the USA got 6 medals in 3 events on one of the earlier days, and I really can't see how you justify that kind of scoring. And we still posted a record gold medal count.

I loved all of these games except Double Agent. Sam's movement in Double Agent is really bad compared to the other games, getting him hidden quickly sometimes requires a miracle. The story was good, but the constant returns to the JBA headquarters (read: every other mission) gets really old and seems lazy. I'm not sure whether or not to be excited for conviction. On the one hand, the story seems really cool, but they seem to be going with much more action and far less stealth. I could be wrong, but one thing these games NEVER did well was shoot-outs. And those few times they force you into one were my least favorite of the series.

I DID love this game until I got to one fucking bastard of a level that kept me busy for a solid 5 hours, managing to ALMOST perfect it except for ONE SINGLE insignificant little shit of an enemy was able to get through. I was playing co-op, and we had our strategy memorized for about 7 waves. Not a moment was wasted EVER in those 7 waves, and just by sheer bad luck, one of our fucking archer towers wouldn't get its second shot off and this little bastard would get through. I haven't played the game since.
