for me it was a go-cart that I was driving, and trying to dodge things :)

is it just me, or does the 4th picture seem off. it looks like it has canards and conventional elevators, if not forward swept wings as well (though that could be an optical illusion). otherwise, damn sexy aircraft - Comment on Taxi! (2009-07-01 10:09:00)

alright, so perhaps not hatred, but at least violence. I suppose the important thing I wanted to convey was how vulnerable we are when we're prideful. though I suppose if I want to highlight that, it'd only be fair to hit gluttony, sloth, lust and all the other homunculus... I mean sins - Comment on words to live by (2009-06-19 01:18:58)
see, this is excellent feedback, and I can work with it. I actually thought dieAntagonista was pretty hilarious :D. I didn't expect much support...if there had been our culture wouldn't be the same. you'll have to excuse the following, I can't care enough to look up specifics. I suppose since most of the newest comments are on the first card, here's a long analogy. essentially I see western civilization as a much larger beast going through the same motions as Nazi Germany. during WWII German scientists were allowed/encouraged to preform experiments on Jews and prisoners of war. some resulted in new medical techniques and knowledge that have since helped save many lives. after the war many doctors were conflicted about using the information obtained through unethical experimentation (citation needed). in the end many of the practices were adopted into modern (for the time)medicine. Even though there are some things that I see as useful from our current civilization, they do not justify it's existence. Rather I see them accentuating the failures, and increasing the need for it to be swept away. - Comment on words to live by (2009-06-19 00:45:32)
well it's a wee bit to add them other than this... (.)(.) (I hope the formatting stays) - Comment on words to live by (2009-06-18 15:45:37)
completely forgot, also @ sticky, no I didn't specifically mean nationalistic pride, but it does cover that as well. using something similar to your example, you groom your lawn and are proud of it, and tell some random person walking by. they see it, laugh in your face and proceed to point out flaws. now how do you feel about them? - Comment on words to live by (2009-06-18 15:36:50)
damnit, just realized the answer to my own question... the picture of houses... oh well - Comment on words to live by (2009-06-18 15:36:16)
obviously I did fail though since I seem to feel the need to comment on my own post. @ sticky for the 1st: if past determines value, then how about bringing up a past of exploitation rather than respect, and intolerance rather than peace? oh wait, that's our present and future too. I'm curious why most of the comments about the second one assume "home" means "house"? yes, "nationalism is xenophobia" would have technically been more accurate, but it lacks the punch. I was hoping it was close enough to get the point... it seems to just be good for closing people down. noted, and I'll see what else I can come up with. the images for the cards were stock business card templates. I only picked the ones that seemed to make a little sense - Comment on Dorothy Flood (2009-06-17 15:02:37)
