Commenting a year after this was originally posted. We now know, if it wasn't obvious before, that this was part of a wide conspiracy on the part of the GOP to overthrow our government, an effort that culminated on the 6th of January, 2021. The folks who filed this lawsuit should be in jail.

I get "free speech" and "liberty" and all, but I confess, I am concerned that there's a bunch of folks out there using their free speech and liberty to try to organize the slaughter of people they don't like. I mean, these little fascists assholes are funny, and all, but... if they'd managed to kick off the violence they intended, it wouldn't be nearly so funny.

I'd argue that, mostly, anyone who wants the job should be disqualified, out of hand. Not all cops, obviously, but a significant portion of them are not the kind of people who should be permitted to carry guns, at all, and the job attracts that [wrong] type.

Not quite sure why anyone would describe this as "hidden." I was aware of it at the time, (yeah, I'm old, what of it?). There was a huge lawsuit over it, (the police lost), there's a documentary movie, and a Wikipedia page. (See: 1985 MOVE Bombing)
