no, i paid about $80. it was the only goddamn headset that they had and i was soooo excited to get a bluetooth.. thing, because i'd just bought a phone that supported it finally, and the son of a bitch talked me into it. that store is looong since closed. i hope that dude invested his life savings and is homeless now or something. but it was probably just a money laundering front.

Not to get all tinfoiled, but dubai fucking terrifies me. Seems like all of the money is going there from around the world to build a rich people's private paradise in the relative middle of nowhere; and I reckon that when the nukes come down to wipe out the rest of the planet, those responsible will probably be holing up in there in their megalithic arcologies built on the sweat and blood of everyone else.

Wikipedia reports surface area of the earth as 148,940,000 square km. 12.5% of this is exactly the figure that they get. I reckon they got the 12.5% from there, too, as in, we inhabit 12.5% of the usable land on the earth. Define "inhabit", though. Russia is "inhabited", Montana is "inhabited", but both have wide open spaces. I second the opinions stated that this is disingenuous at best in saying that we don't have nearly enough nukes to "completely wipe out civilization". Again definitions - if you call that as "kill every single last man, woman, and child in one instant", then maybe it's true. Otherwise - a few strategically placed Big Ones and it's all over.

jose cuervo is for assholes and teenage alcoholics. it's cheap, nasty shit and gives mexico a bad name. the first time i drank tequila was a $50 bottle of a clear, white label whose name escapes me now (it was about ten years ago) and it tasted like sandy beaches and the ocean and it was glorious. The last time (and i do mean last) it was a $20 bottle(still white, none of this "caramel color added" bullshit) and it left me nearly dead. I've tried a sip of patrón since then, and it just tasted like buttholes. I mostly stick to bourbon these days.

I lost internet access while this was posting :( These things are fucking terrifying and meaty-fleshy looking. The one I found was like four inches long. I moved a piece of wood off the ground in the back yard, and the son of a bitch emerged right out of the dirt like the devil's own child. They don't jump and they don't fly, and it turns out they're relatively harmless scavengers though rumor is they can bite if you get too close. Also, they're not actually "crickets". That makes them sound waaaay too friendly and cute. I hear "cricket", I think "chinese lucky cricket", or "a cricket in times square". I see one of these things and I pee in terror. NOT A FUCKING CRICKET.
