No, I mean the pattern on the clothing and helmet cover. See the little black splotches, as specifically evidenced on his right forearm? That is German Winter Cam. Such a pattern in combination with a darker kit is actually quite effective whenever trees are present, as no sane man moves across an open field when natural cover is available. This is why we can wear winter cam over everything but our pants and kit and still move along a tree line effectively concealed.
