To say character evolution is necessary is such bull shit. King of the Hill, Arrested Development, The Simpsons, The Boondocks,and Futurama have all been funny throughout their respective runs and their was literally no character development in any of those shows.

I liked 9 way better than 8. It's tied with 7 for my favorite I think. 8's characters were all so bitchy. It was really hard to like them. I like that 9 has more of an old school feel to it.

This is the first game Mario appeared in. It's called Donkey Kong, and Mario goes by the name 'jumpman' in this. He was so popular that they decided to give him his own title game.

Am playing this right now, I'm on disc 2. Like it just as much as 7 so far, and immensely better than 8, which I couldn't get into at all. Also Nobuo Uematsu is a wonderful composer.
