@Alec My bad man, I meant handgun and firearm came out. Still, it's hard to ward off a violent criminal with a .30-06... a bit cumbersome. You shouldn't have to get your handgun off the street. I've read a couple of Moore's books. He does make excellent points occasionally, then blows his credibility all to hell by exaggerating and twisting the truth to suit his argument. Last I heard, he wanted to ban handguns. Has he changed his position? What'd I miss? Again, apologies for wrong word choice in the last post... I had a misfire.

This is a classic worn argument. Let's look at Canada. They outlawed firearm ownership and instances of rape and other violent crime increased. Accidental death by gun is statistically low comparatively speaking. Homicide by gun is low - comparatively speaking. Guns are good deterrents for violent crime. If a criminal thinks they might get shot, they think twice about being a criminal. If you teach your children firearm safety and proper handling they will not shoot themselves. Parents forget to teach their children respect in general which is the broader problem at hand. Firearm ownership is a constitutional right for a reason. Are you serious Guswut? Have you checked his voting record? http://ontheissues.org/John_McCain.htm Forget Dem. v. Rep. rhetoric that is regurgitated and spewed by biased commentators on both sides. Base your voting decision on their voting decision instead of falling for the drama. McCain wants to build more prisons and then throw everyone in them, and he supports overturning Roe v Wade. Not exactly how I'd like to picture America's future.

The disrespectful no talent hacks also did a poor job cloning the area without the markers. Really, how long would it have taken to clone out the names? Most of those soldiers gave their lives fighting commies back when smoking was good for you. I don't smoke, but I also don't care what other people do as long as it doesn't affect my rights. That old geezer just wants to get paid. It's an illusion, they act like they're sticking the cam in your throat, then they switch to video footage. Illusion. I've had the "esophagus cam." They numb the back of your throat then sedate you. If they actually did that to him, he would have been in pain, vomited, and most likely passed out. Not necessarily in that order. When they find out that dude is lying, they should exercise creative sentencing for perjury. I recommend actually doing it for real.
