Actually years and reams of literature criticism theory would go against you on this one awfulintentions. There is a point after which the work becomes what the audience makes of it and must leave the purvey of its creator. And I for one hate some of the retconing and known canon breaking that has been going on lately with the Force Unleashed work. - Comment on trying to build a personal stargate isn't normal - but on meth it is (2008-12-07 04:30:01)
There is your problem, right there. You made it horizontal. - Comment on Craigslist Posting - Too Much Crabmeat (2008-12-05 16:26:43)
Obviously, the clincher here is the imitation crab meat. - Comment on Darth Vader watches Padme (2008-12-05 03:38:07)
@Sarcastic: I do not think it is a matter of it being flesh like. I think that is just the model. It's not like they said, oh well he will not need to show it around so why don't we just downgrade him to this uglier one. I think it is sort of like a package deal, you want to newest and best tech, it has to have skin. Plus he is not in his suit all the time, maybe they gave it to him for just such events as this one depicted above. According to imdb James Earl Jones is indeed the voice that screams Noooooooo. - Comment on Darth Vader watches Padme (2008-12-04 03:41:11)
His right hand is robotic because it was an earlier model. That was the hand that Count Duku cut off. When you have to replace three limbs and do extensive reconstructive surgery and what not you don't go messing about with the hand that works albeit it is robotic. @Skifter: I agree with your analysis and for a rational person it would be right. But Anakin/Vader was all but rational as evidenced by much of his actions in Ep. III - Comment on Darth Vader watches Padme (2008-12-03 15:07:51)
@sarcastic: remember that Luke had his hand cut off too and it too was flesh colored. - Comment on Darth Vader watches Padme (2008-12-03 15:05:29)
One of the things that was not clear for me from Ep. III is why Anakin continued listening to the Emp after Padme died. His main motivation was for her to live. She died. Why does he continue to listen to the man who had a huge influence in that. The logical thing would have been for him to force choke Darth Sidious right after he finished screaming. This is my first pic. Yay. Thanks for posting it. - Comment on Some good advice! (2008-12-03 15:02:58)
Yeah, it is not cannon but I still laughed when I first saw it. - Comment on Trained drinking monkey (2008-12-03 03:30:01)
What I wonder is who would get a smoking monkey. It's like crippling your investment. Get a non-smoking monkey that will live longer and be more tame, and than if you absolutely have to have a smoking monkey, it's not like it's hard to train him to do that. Just makes sense. - Comment on Bruce Wayne/Batman 1939-2008 (2008-12-03 03:21:06)
I read that it is some criminal pretending to be his father. Not his actual father. And the author said that no, we do not get to see Batman's lifeless body. Which is always a cop out. - Comment on Muslims & Non-Muslims (2008-12-03 03:17:35)
There are your basic two Muslim holidays. One is after the holy month of Ramadan, and the other one is during and right the pilgrimage of Haj. During this pilgrimage millions of Muslims from all around the world converge on the two holiest cities in all of Islam. While efforts are underway, constantly, to aleviate the crushing throng of people that gather at specific places to do very specific things in unison, death does indeed occur. Arafat is indeed one such place, actually one of the more prominent troublesome spots. It should also be noted that all of these locations are crowded year round. So, in an effort to alleviate congestion and help in the smooth running of the thing Non-Muslims are not allowed at these locations. Think of it like a rock concert where not all are allowed in certain areas so as to not create absolute chaos. It also helps with security. There might be some other reason, but I am not aware of it. - Comment on Colored Birds (2008-11-30 15:57:08)
