What really pissed me off about the ending of The Mist is that it didn't make sense for the characters in question. They didn't wait for ANY length of time after they ran out of gas, or food or whatever. They could have survived for at least a couple days without food/water no problem. Instead, the dude shoots his own kid before their stomachs even start rumbling. What kind of dumbass does that? You'd think it was a last resort kind of thing... As for Dreamcatcher, I agree with elzarcothepale, they butchered the story terribly when they changed the ending to Duddits being an alien. I saw the movie after reading the book and I once I got over the shock I wanted to throw things at the screen. And about the "Hope" and "Hartford" thing, "Hartford" sounded like "Hope" because ANY word that would come across the radio would give them reason to hope. King didn't mean that it literally sounded like hope.

I can't stand this show, the characters are not likable, and they don't act consistently based on the thin personality they are given. I am actually rooting for the Terminators every time my boyfriend puts it on the TV.

@Drewlicious: Look on Petfinder.com http://www.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?animal=Dog&breed=Bull%20Terrier&preview=1&exact=1 That should work, if it doesn't then click "see all" by the "Breed" catagory and find "Bull Terrier" That should eliminate the pit bulls unless some ill informed person lists a pit bull as a bull terrier. You know it's an actual English Bull Terrier when there is no indent in the nose between the eyes.

HB 1177 is a Washington state bill which would make possession of less that 40 grams of marijuana a $100 civil fine instead of a criminal misdemeanor. The tax payer money currently being spent on investigating, prosecuting, and incarcerating marijuana users could be better spent elsewhere. This bill would provide revenue for the government, as well as taking some of the pressure off our overcrowded jails. There are many informative websites that are trying to dispel some of the anti-marijuana propaganda that has been in circulation since the "Reefer Madness" movie of the 50's. I actually have these growing in my garden. They smell just like days old decomposing flesh about 2 days out of the year. Their pollination system relies on flies instead of bees. They are called the dragon arum, also Viagra Lily, Stink Lily and Corpse Lily.
