Also, if he's an engineer it's weird that he said "I am an officer in the armed forces."

Yeah, I'm sick of church employees taunting me with their ironic mustaches.

Wait, wait, wait... are you telling me the president is successful? Well, I never!

I take it she slept around a lot in 1934. "Floozy"? "Temptress"? Who still says that?

I think the point is that they SHOULD be rights. Doing something that only effects you and no one else, gay marriage should be legal but because some assholes in this country can't get over the "ick" factor, it's not. Pretty stupid country sometimes...

How'd the sun get there? How'd the moon get there? You pinheads are just desperate.

If I had been trying to explain everything, this would be a reasonable response. But since I was only talking about what was referenced in the comic (I don't know why you decided to apply it to everything in existence) it makes you seem like kind of an idiot.

Science wins again! Also, pareidolia is another perfectly good response to that nonsense. It's the reason we see faces in clouds, our brain likes to assign recognizable patterns to things that don't actually have them. Just a thought.

Yeah, really fake. Rubber doesn't create sparks and if it did, wouldn't the sparks be going the other way?

You're reading a lot into that... Also, he's a goddamn actor. If they had offered ME that role for what was definitely more money than I could dream of, I'd do it in a second and so would you.
  • Comment on seven sins (2010-12-17 17:24:26)
Destruction doesn't look like that, he's more of a lumberjack type guy. Also, 7 sins? Really? So it's a sin to have a destiny, dream and die. Man this God guy is getting stricter all the time.

Do you think I'll have trouble following the story if I never saw Yogi 1 or 2?

Seriously not getting his point, are you? IF no one other than westerners would hear terrorists being called jihadists, it wouldn't matter what we called them because we are already opposed to them. However in real life Muslims in the Middle-East hear this as well. It's not a good idea to give civilians the impression that terrorist guerrilla organizations are great because that can encourage them to support or join them. Where is this logic falling apart?

Civil liberties matter. They matter and if you think they don't then you don't really believe in the rule of law and the foundation of America. If that's the way direction you want to take then so be it but just know which way that line of thinking heads. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came...
