Yeah, but lest we forget that they used the metric system to get to the moon. Everyone knows that engineers and chemists use the metric system... I can't tell if this is just a sign about stupidity or denial... Metric is really not that difficult - it's perfectly accurate and super stupid simple. A bit like the difference of using Apple and Windows... both will eventually get you there - but why suffer the self imposed masochism. Even the most simple-minded uneducated peasant in any back hill village of Europe can tell you that by metric standards, water freezes at zero and boils at 100. Quickly now, using the imperial (US) form of measurement - at what temperature does water boil and freeze? Even if you know that answer, the average American doesn't; and most have used this back-ass form of measurement all their lives. Quickly sum up the imperial fractions of 17/32 and 5/16 = Okay, now quickly sum up the metric fraction of 4/10 and 9/10 = You have 10 digits on your hands, not 8... why would you want to make life for the average student or yourself any more difficult and complicated than you have to? Just saying... (btw: it freezes at minus-32 & and boils at 212 - something more you need to memorize - yet, from today to the day you die - you will easily recall that by metric standards water freezes at zero and boils at 100)

Unfortunate only to those that don't understand who and what that is... Most Belgians I know couldn't be prouder that CC recognized one of their "national symbols" and placed them on those machines. Really smart marketing on their part...

Perhaps I've lived in Europe far too long but when I look at this on-going drudge back in the states about homosexuals - it all just seems so silly and ridiculous at this point. So you don't like two people of the same sex having sex or a form a sex that you don't approve of... so what? People are to seek your approval for what sort of sex they can have in the future before partaking in it? Is this what you're saying? All folks from now on must check in with your "moral" standings and compass before allowed to engage in sex with one another? Or perhaps if you keep repeating the same tired half-ass arguments against it that someone will say, "Gee, I won't have a fuck today because Billy-Bob disapproves of it." Do you even for a second understand the depth of stupidity and inane thought pattern that this comes off as? Please, do yourself and everyone a huge favor and think about this neutrally and then one day, perhaps in the distant future, you'll will finally understand the depth about how utterly retarded and asinine this is. You wanting to control what people are allowed to do in bed according to your standards? ... Dear Billy-Bob, is it okay if we fuck?

It's become Halloween all the time... I don't get it. Is it "let's play dress-up" for adults?
  • Comment on RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman (2014-02-04 15:34:24)
Personally the best and most haunting character was in "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" about two brothers (with Ethan Hawke) that rob their parents' jewelry store, the whole thing goes wrong which sets into motion a whole series of horrible events right through to a shattering climax. That film made me an instant fan. Really a sad loss.

Obviously, a level of intelligence about the natural laws of physics doesn't constitute what a real man is or not today.

When there's nothing new to come down on the black guy for then just go back to the archives and recycle some tired old shit.

... and she's no longer out of breathe and spent after 3 minutes. I've been in this very situation... My money is on "former fat-chick grueling sex marathons that goes on for an exhausting 2.3 hours - where she keeps screaming out "Fucker, if you can't keep up, I'll find someone else who can!... now FUCK!"

Yeah... that's true. Even their own leader, House Speaker Boner, has been nick-named the "cry-baby"; the guy throws a little hissy-fit at the drop of a hat... er... never mind... he's a Republican.
  • Comment on School Wright up (2013-12-29 17:47:26)
Question was "why" not "where". But then I believe I understand the audience here when no one even quires why "Wright" is inappropriately used in the title (it should be "write-up")

Rule 1 Remember to stock-up on plenty of cold-cream from make-up department for removing all that make-up shit from your face.
  • Comment on Great Britain vs USA (2013-12-15 11:45:29)
100% agree! There breasts are twice as big as a normal girl that age, 1 maybe but both? Yeah right. Way too much hair - hair extensions. And all that make-up... these look like the run-of-the-mill American whore-factory look-a-like jobs.
