12 years ago, came here (Denmark) for a job assignment, fell in love with their way of life and never left. Annually, Denmark and all 4 socialist Scandinavia countries top as the happiest and most satisfied people in every poll and index measured. Gallup World Poll (GWP), the World Values Survey (WVS), the European Values Survey (EVS), and the European Social Survey (ESS). The 158-page report, published by Columbia University's Earth Institute, was commissioned for the United Nations Conference on Happiness and Satisfaction of Life for it's citizenry. http://issuu.com/earthinstitute/docs/world-happiness-report?e=4098028/2014244 btw - the US doesn't even make the top 15 on any of these polls any more. Admittedly, I'm an old school Republican, US Marine vet - the whole rah-rah America BS. What most Americans don't understand about socialist governments/socialism drives me fucking nuts. Believing that Obama is a socialist, is like believing McDonalds is a vegetarian fast-food chain.

Your children are saying it to one another every day or will be when you're not around - they'll be viewing the very act itself and more long before you even realise it - welcome to the internet dad/mom. Your children will be viewing full-on hard-core porn on their friend's borrowed Google-glasses during class at school. Before your children reach puberty they'll be having full-on 3D virtual sex with Stephanie Boom-boom LaRue at their best friend's house after school, 3 times a week. Remember the "battle of the hormones" when you were around 14 years old - there is no longer a battle - it's literally done and over with - if your children can work an iPhone then you don't stand of chance in hell against what's coming. My hope and security is now for this next generation. In spite of us, they won't have our hang-ups, prejudices, hate, intolerance and especially predispositions about who or what anyone else should be or has to be. They'll over come all those that try to shit on their parade. Good always wins out.

I was reading you riposte and then I realized that I was filling my head with your ideas so I stopped... god forbid, I should suddenly and instantaneously become a good liberal by reading words or giving into your ideas and half-ass philosophies. I know this may come as a shock to you, but education in basic terms is a process built on the knowledge of trial and error of those that have gone before us. Passing onto us what is fact from what is simply theory or fiction. The very basic act of being able to read and write because a teacher, an elder, a parent, a guardian learned and leaned on the knowledge of those before them that putting together characters from an alphabet made words and words made sentences and sentences could make ideas and theories and facts as well as just tales. The very methods in which you seem to want to go out of your way to disprove as wrong, pointless or nonsense only seems come back to betray and bite you in the ass. Any way you interpret it - knowledge is king. It is the only thing when all the smoke has cleared will be left standing and never betray you. The opposite of intelligence is not stupid - it's ignorance. Ignorance is a choice.
