Meat (especially cooked red meat, because you call yourself a carnivore yet can't eat it raw) breaks down a lot faster and is (basically) inside you too long, leading to things like colon cancer. The meat industry is a big one, you guys bring in a lot of money, and about 27 million dead animal carcasses each day in the US alone. These guys would lose a lot of money and a lot of people would be out of jobs if people stopped eating meat. Also so many animals being born and bred to be food is responsible for about 40% of all carbon emissions. But they won't tell you that, they'd rather tax you for driving a car, because that makes more money and doesn't kill an industry. So why would they ever tell you it was bad for you? With the right money and persuadable research scientists for hire, you can spin anything to sound good for you. Look how long it took people to realise smoking was harmful, lol. Now I'm not one to ignore history, we have eaten meat for thousands of years, however used to kill our own, eat the meat as a large family/tribe (because you couldn't store meat, could you?), then use the skin, furs and organs to create clothing and storage. So meat maybe, once a month we'd eat meat. We weren't big hunters, look at our size. More scavengers of fruit and vegetables. We've started getting bigger due to the change in our diets. We've evolved bigger in size in the last century, and this isn't really a good thing. We don't have the busy lifestyle to combat our excessive consumption, hence the obesity problem, and not to mention heinous over-population creating even more demand. People get so defensive in trying to justify it because they don't want to admit they're just a fat cunt and like to eat it. Nothing is ever 'good' for you because by curing something you ruin another industry. If we all got healthy, massive pharmaceutical companies would lose money, doctors and nurses would be out of jobs, people make money off you, that's all you are. A pawn in your big scary economy. So sit down, get a pat on the head for being a part of the majority, and play your part like a good citizen. Rarrrgh, Peta are bad, etc!

What better way to teach a child to live in fear and strip away their innocence? Gotta love a parent who can't protect their own child and let her actually be 5 years old. The only reason you will ever need to be armed is to fight back against those who oppress you.
