You forgot a part: When your reason has survived everyone dumping on you, you get the religious assholes now telling you your idea is worth just as much as their fairy tales, or else you're disrespectful and offensive. - Comment on Existentialism (2010-07-28 01:24:40)
Also, The Internet is a great place to discuss morality and philosophy! Excellent good job, Dagonz! - Comment on Existentialism (2010-07-28 01:23:02)
More like: "make your own meaning. But some meanings are still pretty stupid." and God is definitely one of them. I personally agree with a lot of what's up there, except he forgot one part: empathy. Objective observation of the world should reveal that other people are prety much like yourself, and you are not intrinsically more important than them. So hurting them is exactly the same as if someone hurt you, and it sucks. - Comment on south park - we'd stand beside you if we weren't so scared (2010-06-26 04:32:42)

Wow. Offending Christians? With that sign? Really? Wow, Christians really are pansy-assed paranoid gits with a victimization fetish. - Comment on What Jesus said about homosexuals (2010-05-01 01:43:04)

"also, long distance NEVER works. don’t argue, it never works out". That's bollocks. I've had three years of long-distance in my relationship with my now wife. Long-idstance doesn't work often, but it can work. You've just got to put in the effort: talk every day if you can, visit about once a month if you can afford it. And it definitely helps if you've been together in the same place for a little while beforehand. But it can work. - Comment on United States Army Enemy Combatant Identification Manual (2010-04-22 01:19:18)

So your standard for what's acceptable is "it's cool, the Taliban do it as well"? Way to keep your high ground there. - Comment on Guide to asian languages (2010-04-21 17:21:14)

Well there's a difference. When a the military of a democratic country kills civilians, it's a sloppy mistake. When the Taliban/Khmer Rouge do it, it's a deliberate action to purge the unbelievers/subversive bourgeois element. Not that it makes any difference to the victims.
