I didn't buy MW2 because of the IWnet bullshit for PC and decided to get BC2 instead because at least it had dedicated servers. I'm enjoying BC2, short but decent single player and when you get a team that aren't idiots and are all sniping the multiplayer can be great. The bad stuff is the server browser which is just terrible and there are problems sometimes logging into EA which mean you can't play online. Good game when you can play it, botched release.

I'm jealous. I'd love to see something like that. I'm cautiously optimistic about the future of manned space flight. The plan to go back to Orion style rockets seemed like a step backwards, but at least it was something. Now NASA is going to be contacting to the private sector, that's going to mean more money and investment to the private companies. It could fail if they're not up to the job or it could be the start of a whole new era in space exploration and allow NASA to focus on something more ambitious. Hope it's a success, we need to be up in space doing stuff.

The one time I went skiing, which was with school, we had the usual first day "this is how you slow down" stuff. 2nd day, red run. So you can add long chain of terrified school children slowly winding and falling their way down the trail. Ruining the snow.

I did, it was pretty good. Didn't finish it though, my crappy PC at the time really struggled to play it so when things got busy it turned into a slideshow.
