Thanks. - Comment on Pop ups and overlays should now be a thing of the past on MCS (2012-06-13 02:41:43)
Just got one. Funny thing is, it looked like the mobile layout of the website had loaded on my desktop. Took a screen cap of the overlay, went to right-click the image for the URL, and the overlay disappeared. Where should I send the screen cap? - Comment on Egocentric Bias (2012-06-01 01:05:40)
> I’m not American nor religious + > Atheism is just a handful of butthurt losers = I am a butthurt loser. - Comment on Egocentric Bias (2012-05-31 20:16:47)
I can accept that. It's just like the way that I'm forced to file people who worship invisible super-heroes as "sorely misguided nutters" - Comment on Poor, sick, pregnant "Bible Belters" (2012-05-26 06:41:31)
Every time I see your bullshit, I still read it for a laugh. You have to be the most down-voted commenter on this website. I'm not saying that popular opinion illustrates right or wrong - I'm just saying that nobody here would be too upset if we got word that you went and David Carradine'd yourself in a closet somewhere. - Comment on Poor, sick, pregnant "Bible Belters" (2012-05-26 06:36:03)
Southern Baptists are about the most vile, twisted branch of the ugly tree that is Christianity. They've dominated the Religious landscape of one of the saddest corners of the US, for almost two hundred years... That'll leave it's mark on the health and well-being of a region. - Comment on Poor, sick, pregnant "Bible Belters" (2012-05-26 06:25:01)
And nobody will criticize you if you go eat a bag of dicks. The Bethke poem that you're probably playing on with that, is complete crap that can be summed up as "Oh, I hate Church, but I love Religion. The organization is terrible, but PRAISE JESUS. Go to Church - it's awesome. And Jesus, love and stuff." I'm not "criticizing the Churches for being full of sinners" - I'm saying that being a bunch of Jesus nuts doesn't "fix" human nature - it just gets in the way of people making good, informed decisions. - Comment on Nebraska Woman Gives the Craziest Anti-Gay Rant Ever (2012-05-25 00:37:20)
The schizophrenic Christians are the lucky ones - they don't need to deal with the whole cognitive dissonance issue. The get to spout this BS without knowing how wrong they are. - Comment on Penn Jillette on there being no god (2012-05-11 20:43:48)
Weak sauce. Something can't come from nothing... So God made it. And he came from? A universe can't come from nothing, but an all-knowing, all-powerful God can? Or did he start as a spark, and gradually expand into a massive, powerful, "everything that exists" Weak. Fucking. Self. Defeating. Sauce. - Comment on Penn Jillette on there being no god (2012-05-11 20:06:33)
As an argument against the existence of the specific gods of the present day, it's speculative, but sounds pretty solid. How many other bum religions were cast off as voodoo before we finally found what Christians would call the "right" one? We can never know, but I really doubt we'd see people talking about the guy who was born in a manger in jerusalem, visited by three wise men, and all that other tripe. It'd be a whole new story, and plenty of different values. - Comment on Man cannot subvert gods plan for america (2012-05-11 03:46:26)
The views of the person that made the graphic are secondary to how it can be used as a tool. - Comment on Man cannot subvert gods plan for america (2012-05-10 22:50:53)
How do you separate church and state? Spread this. Beautiful. - Comment on Presidential Address (2012-05-03 20:44:45)
And how much of this Muslim's policy-making has been based around Muslim faith, both before and during his presidency? All the while, Romney will gladly say things to the effect of "That's not what marriage is in the Bible, that's not what marriage will be in America." - Comment on Presidential Address (2012-05-03 20:40:28)
That is shockingly original and deep, man. Think of it yourself? - Comment on Presidential Address (2012-05-03 20:34:26)
Wait... Are you saying that a examining a sex scandal DOES have it's place in politics?
