@ dmytriw-wds Deal with it, white knight/moralfag. - Comment on Biblical Marriages (2011-06-20 05:03:29)
Technically, anyone (of the Christian faith) clinging to those antiquated Mosaic tenets and using them to perpetrate their cultural elitism is being devious, hypocritical, ignorant, and/or simply confused. Jesus repealed the Mosaic law, as he had the authority to, and boiled everything down to loving God and your neighbour, and more or less dismissed the generally bloodthirsty set of laws by which the Jews had carved out their little niche in the world. The 'eye for an eye' became 'turn the other cheek', etc., so the way of thinking presented in this image, while being totally OK with me, shouldn't be OK for mainstream Christians, because it's really a relic of thought treasured by non-Messianic Abrahamic religions, i.e., Jews and Muslims. So Christians interested in bringing back stoning for mundane human behaviours should consider converting to a No-Fly-List faith... And people shouldn't condemn gay marriage because they forgot to read all the way through the Book of Matthew, gay marriage should be condemned on its inherent value: it's just fuggin nasteh, unless both chicks are hot. - Comment on Biblical Marriages (2011-06-20 03:48:05)
Well, regardless of the heavy-handed attempt at refuting it's already dubious credibility, anyone interested in using this as a critical debating point in support of gay marriage probably also didn't read that same Bible, because those points are resolved with a little more clarity, typically lots of fire and stones and sweet, sweet death. - Comment on Biblical Marriages (2011-06-20 02:15:58)
Yeah? And? Is this post intended to draw opposition to this sort of thing? Because No. - Comment on Bladerunner Polaroid's (2011-06-06 00:41:55)
Dude, that is so awesome. I can't believe she held on to those. 30+ years! What a classy broad. Awesome of her to share, too. Favorite movie of all time. - Comment on *UC* Society (2011-06-03 03:09:50)
Audrey Hepburn was also a veritable sex symbol in her day, trailing Marylin by just a few years in popularity, was highly admired by both men and women, had infinitely more class than that cellulite-ridden bleached skank on the left, and she was an elegant, beautiful, THIN, TRIM, SLIM woman. Audrey was an ideal. Monroe was a monument to excess, both in form and behaviour. - Comment on Emma showing some skin (2011-06-02 02:06:25)

What're you? Gay? - Comment on Quit after 29 years (2011-05-23 21:46:54)
I don't doubt that. But willpower is not an absolute, and it's not a physical constant of the Universe. It cannot measured or its outcome predicted. So, saying "I quit" with absolution is tantamount to saying "I've seen the future and this is hoe it turned out," which is pure bullshit. You're not a fucking deity, and your word is not your will. You are not master of your own destiny and you cannot account for every variable or predict every possible path laid out before you. You're an imperfect being doomed to failure in all things. Maybe not now, or anytime soon, but inevitably. The only way to succeed is to remove yourself from the equation. So, you know, feel free to an hero any time.
