Guinness, Fat Tire, Shiner Bock, Modello Negro and Pilsner Urquell are among my favorites. But I like trying new beers at places like: http://www.beerknurd.com/ http://www.heartlandbrewery.com/ http://www.bohemianhall.com/ :D If anyone knows of another good brewery/variety beer stop in NYC let me know. They don't have a Saucer up here yet.

I framed my autographed stuff and those go in our bedroom. But the posters they give away every year at CC and the ones I get inside guidebooks/EGM/gamecases are all posted on one back wall behind our computer set up with dbl sided tape. It's our gaming zone and is mostly blocked from view by four computers. Not the 'classiest' set up, but it looks hella better than plain white walls. I just found it funny that a poster one can get for free needed an $8 frame. My policy is: "If I don't plan on selling this on eBay someday, it doesn't need a protectove barrier."

Because I'm 90% sure whoever decided to make this image was trying to make some ill-informed comment on what they percieve to be America's slow decline towards communism. At least, I'd assume that was the image's goal; more than a loose commentary on what could have been historically.

The "dumb" ignores boundary lines. It infects across all borders. Even in Canada. Even in Europe. http://www.reason.com/news/show/134488.html

lol... after Stallworth, I don't really think the NFL has "hiring standards" that extend to a player's criminal past. If they did, we'd have a serious lacking in good players.

Lol fearmongering morons, wouldn't know socialism if it bit them in the ass. Who could have imagined that the ingrained paranoia from McCarthyism would still be influenciing voters today...

  • Comment on Manly Men Brigade (2009-08-12 10:09:57)
meh. How about being yourself instead of living up to a self-imposed stereotype? Feminine and Masculine are not actual traits, they are just the words we use to describe trends in our own sphere of reference. In other parts of the world, men have long hair and wear skirts or kiss each other on the cheek and discuss literature and it is considered quite "manly" to do so.
  • Comment on Truly Epic Boobs Motivational Poster (2009-08-11 15:13:00)
lol wut? Atheists would just say fat chicks get fat boobs. 'tis SCIENCE! logic fault: Atheists don't "thank god" for stuff. Even great stuff. And if they do use the word "god" in conversation it's meaningless gibberish usually stemming from habit rather than faith.
  • Comment on Pepsi & Coke - Logos Over Time (2009-08-11 12:12:51)
http://www.thecoca-colacompany.com/heritage/pdf/cokelore/Heritage_CokeLore_trademarkchronology.pdf I still think Coke>Pepsi in flavor. But it's all sugar water in the end so who cares? People who took this too seriously fail on both ends of the spectrum. Taste is subjective, non-arguable. Always has been.

#2 is, sadly, the ideal "look" for a lot of girls.
