We do use the metric system in the USA. The military uses it, our scientists use it, it's taught in schools. Also, go watch Top Gear sometime, they still say "miles" and "miles per hour" over there in the UK.

If you look at the video, you'll see the Japanese whaler turn into the Ady Gil, and ram it. They could've easily avoided it. The Ady Gil didn't ram the whaler, lol. I don't condone the Sea Shepherds' actions, but they were intentionally rammed, the video proves it.

There's rifles, assault rifles, sub-machine guns, and pistols, basically. Rifles shoot huge bullets, like a sniper or deer rifle. A machine gun shoots these same rifle rounds (or larger bullets) very rapidly. An assault rifle shoots a slightly smaller round than a rifle, but still larger than a pistol round. Sub-machine guns shoot a lot pistol rounds very rapidly. Pistols usually shoot pistol rounds.
