Well, if you remember, the movie Footloose was all about losing it and letting yourself go, dancing in the face of restriction and a stupidly moral society. Coloring outside the lines. Going nuts, having fun. That's what the painting is. Either that or it's some attempt to seem arty as fuck while not even trying. It's most likely this reason
