One of the coolest places you can wish to be. The Cableride to go there overspans two mountaintops, leaving you hanging over a 1000 meter void.

Actually this is not fake and there a not a lot of places like this anywhere, this is Meteora, Kalambaka in Greece. There are a dozen or so monastries on top of basalt volcano-cores there for obvious (defensive) reasons. Great place to visit i can tell you, i'd love to see it again. By the way, a classic scene from a james bond movie (for your eyes only i believe) was recorded there.
