Rush is so big that he generates his own gravitational field, so Beck was probably absorbed into Rush. This picture is obviously an artist's representation of what happened after that even.

From the movie, it was supposed to be your standard revolver, and then the second part of the gun fired a larger cal. ammo. If you ever seen the movie, it was where he blew a hole in the Snake Dancer's head. If you have not seen this movie, go out an get it. It still kicks ass today.
