@Hoban Washburne The beginning of Half-Life 2. As I recall, a Combine guard (pictured) forces you to pick up a soda can he knocked on the ground, under thread of his electric stun baton. - Comment on Iraq Veteran (2007-09-24 12:53:00)
"US Marine Ty Ziegel poses with Renee Kline before their wedding in Washington, Illinois, in July. Ziegel was severely wounded in a suicide bomb attack during his second tour of duty in Iraq. He was blinded in one eye, had a shattered skull, and most of his skin was burned off. The couple were engaged following Ziegel's first deployment in Iraq. After Ziegel was injured, Kline lived with him for over a year while he recovered at a hospital in Texas." http://www.vfw.org/index.cfm?fa=news.magDtl&dtl=4&mid=4084 http://www.the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/story_behind_the_photo.html - Comment on Prove it with religion! Sorry Magnus, but you're wrong. There is no grammatical error in the female version. The use of that comma is not for pause, but rather to avoid confusion, which is always allowed. One might argue the sentence is clunky, but that comma is fine where it is. - Comment on Global Warming World Map (2007-06-01 15:12:40)
