Ok, but bees aren't carnivores. Wasps eat meat. To me that makes them demons. I could understand Bees going after nectar.

I believe this a valid question.

Ah. Just googled it. Should have done that first. They aren't making a nest, they're eating insect larvae, maggots and worms, from other insects. That helps a little.

This shit blows my mind. Why would they do this? I go apple picking every year, sometimes in different states, and I have never heard of this. Seriously...why. I can't even deal with the thought, let alone the image.

Liefeld fuckery. Look at the size of Cable's head. Look at his hands. Not one person has feet. Shatterstar has both braids AND a ponytail. Why is only one of his shoulders protected, and why is it protected by the arm of a lazeboy. Speaking of shoulders, is Cable half mule? The horror...
  • Comment on Tiki Asks: When was your last vacation and where did you go? (2016-08-17 18:02:18)
We go to Portland, Maine in October because it's F'in beautiful that time of year. Even the drive down through Massachusetts is incredible. We have friends that run harvest events all Autumn long, like food tastings, wine, whiskey and beer tastings and we get VIP'd in so that rocks pretty hard. Then in February, we go to Fort Lauderdale and crash at my aunt's time share free of charge. That's pretty amazing as well.

Oh boy. Gonna get shit for this...Tried watching it, 4 episodes, and while I understand why people like it intellectually, it just feels "dated", like you said in the title, if youre a fan of 80's horror and suspense. I love horror and suspense, but not when it feels like ET, The Goonies, and Ghostbusters. Ive seen those movies, and theyre fine, but I cant connect to this series like people who are its target audience. When those movies came out, I was dropping acid and having sex. Those were not my "coming of age years". This show has it's interesting moments, but there is TOO MANY other things to watch for me to spend my time on it. So, go ahead. Let the insults begin.
  • Comment on DC Universe Rebirth (2016-06-08 21:49:04)
No shit...these books are FLYING off the shelf. We ordered 300 copies of DC Universe Rebirth #1, both covers (600 copies), and as of today we have exactly 3 copies left. I read it and it's awesome. They are fixing a lot of the "New 52" mistakes that DC themselves admit they made. Additionally, every single #1 issue of the individual heroes Rebirth titles, ie: Superman, Batman, WW, Aquaman ect., have sold out, and are back ordered for the entire country. There are no more. If you missed out, your only hope is second printings, which will no doubt happen. I personally read Aquaman, WW, Green Arrow, and Flash, and they were all terrific. The store is hoppin again. Marvel may rule the cinema, but DC currently rules supreme on the stands. Good stuff!
  • Comment on Tiki Asks : How many times have you moved in your life? (2016-05-16 21:11:26)
I've moved 6 times, but 3 of them were to the same house. Moved in the first time in '77, moved out in '86, came back in '90, moved out in '92, then back in '99 because I bought it! The other moves were school and stuff. Exciting, huh?

  • Comment on a good dog (2016-02-02 09:23:48)
yea, i think almost everyone can relate. this was real entertaining and sweet, but tore my heart open. im not a big cat person, just my opinion, i feel that they own you, you dont own them. i havent had a dog in 3 years, which is unusual for me because i cant remember a time when i didnt have one. i want one, but everytime they leave me, they take a piece with them, and at my age, its getting harder to recover. maybe someday.
