what would be really neat is if this happened. optimistic popularist candidate barack obama wins the election, then some crazed hillary or mccain supporter flings acid at him. then he becomes a president who flips a coin to decide weather to bomb somewhere, veto something, raise/lower taxes, etc.

@ diabeetus it is simply my opinion that someone working in the federal government knows more about what is going on than a person in a tiny executive position. State experience vs. federal experience.

2 year old governor with mayorship experience in a small Alaskan town (pop. 9000) does not a president nor vice president make. Wasilla, Alaska < Chicago, Illinois when it comes to similarity to the rest of the nation. I expect someone from a metropolitan area to know more about what the fuck is going on than I do a someone from a backwoods town in the middle of nowhere in a state that isn't even attached to the rest of the nation. Same goes for Hawaii , they can govern their volcanoes, stay outta my white house though.
