I tried to post these pics a couple of days ago; they did not want to load.
Anyways; this is the Altar; Open year round, owned by some church group (not sure which one, they don\’t even have a sign up that says). It is complete unobtrusive, perched on top of a mountain top in the middle of the woods with a view that overlooks the valley. Popular place for weddings.
You have to turn onto a dirt access road that leads to a State Forest land; and then turn up the drive for this. IT can be kind of bumpy, but you can get their in a car from spring to fall. My wife (pictured) took her mother and an exchange student from Spain there.
Pretty view, and the altar itself doesn’t look half bad either…
…to bad the christians got it.
Can the poster tell us where this is please? Please be as precise as possible. Thanks.
They put the cross up to fool people. If you get married there it is under the eyes of the Great Old Ones.
Where is the sacrificial table?
more importantly, how do I get a spanish exchange student

peatpunk. I’ve been wondering. My wife won’t tell me. Go figure.
eh, most of the Christians here are pretty laid back people; as long as you are not easily offended. (IE, if someone owns a business, they might play Christian music. IT only really bothers me at the dentists, because it reminds me of a a funeral for some reason)
If you’re one of those people that are like. “OH GOD YOU FORCED ME TO LISTEN TO JESUS STUFF WHEN I CAME INTO YOUR STORE”; or you get pissed off when a neighbor invites you to church once, then the area is not for you.

Christians get a bad wrap, because anyone can claim to be a Christian, and ruin their good name. Like the Westbro Baptist Church cult. (They are not an a member of the baptist church, but can call themselves whatever they want).
They were going to protest at a soldier’s funeral in our area. Several of the local churches got together and formed a much larger group to physically keep them away from the ceremony. When it became obvious that they would never get near the ceremony, the westbro cult cancelled.
Faith is like anything else. If you are to pushy, you are going to turn people off. Some people (and groups) are just to pushy. They forget that it should be a (freely made) choice.

People are also ass wholes. Just because you’re Christian or Muslim, does not mean you’re perfect; it (should) mean that you are trying to improve yourself. Being human, your still an idiot, and you are going to fall short. But other people like to be ass wholes and instead of encouraging others (regardless of their personally beliefs) they like to ridicule.

Although all of the above was totally off topic. I really like the view.
TLDR
So you have to be religious to be trying to improve yourself? WTF I call bs on that one. Christian music everywhere you go is not normal and Christians give themselves a bad wrap through their own actions. All of them, but a small group of good ones. Just like any other religion.
And I am one of those “Went to a private Christian school and saw through the bullshit” person. I have nothing against religion, but when it effects my life politically and when people come knocking at my door trying to convert me or do it indirectly with their music everywhere. Than I have every reason to be annoyed and pissed off.
^^^^
I had a very nice response typed up. But myh internet glitched.
Puulaahi: I never said you have to be religious to improve yourself. I said it was one of the goals. Thanks for proving my point though. You got all bent out of shape, and read something that is totally different from what is posted.
I’m agnostic btw.
You can not get pissed off when you go into someone else’s business they are playing christain music. It is their business and they can have the radio on whatever they want. It is no different from if they came into your shop and got offended by your matalica. Even if they do get offended; they should keep it to themselves. As should you.
And who the hell goes knocking on doors (I’ve never had it happen?) Cultists like Jehovah’s witnesses. A normal person goes.
What are you doing this sunday?
You: blah blah blah.
Mychurch is having a (watching the football game/dinner), some activity for the kids, you should come.
You: Yes/naw I don’t think so.
Alternate Puulaahi response:
YOU SON OF A BITCH, HOW DARE YOU FORCE YOUR RELIGION ON ME RAWRS…..

” Just because you’re Christian or Muslim, does not mean you’re perfect; it (should) mean that you are trying to improve yourself.”
Yeah you did (if not completely you definitely hinted at it) and you just took me out of context too (I said I would be annoyed ergo pissed off considering it’s everywhere you go, I didn’t say I would say anything to the clerk). Takes more than the likes of you whining about nonbelievers gripes to piss me off. I simply answered your opinion with my own. I used to go to a youth group in High School too.
Christians have TV Stations, Commercials and Political Parties. They might as well be knocking at your door.
I’m an Atheist/ Polytheist/ Pagan
Also there is a reply button, use it.
Oh, one other thing. I am too much of an easy going, relaxed person to speak in CAPS.
Have a good one.
lol, wut?
I don’t believe in a single deity, if deities do exist than I believe in many (Hawaiian/ Greek/ Norse/ Native Mythology) and I believe we should worship/ respect nature itself like tribes did in the past (in small places of the world still do).
And part of me says it’s all a bunch of BS made by humanity to confuse/ frustrate/ scam/ create fiction/ create conflict/ manipulate and control.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha
I’ve had a good chuckle about all of this lol. I don’t think I took you out of context; you are a caps lock is cruise control for cool kind of guy 😛
“Oh, one other thing. I am too much of an easy going, relaxed person to speak in CAPS.” – I really did chuckle out loud.
Some people do act like that though; and it is sad.
I’ve always blocked the “Christian” TV stations. Even when I was a practicing Pentecostal, they seemed well over the top and offensive.
oh, and thanks for not being a retard like most people on the internet’s.
Then I would say you don’t really believe any of it.
believe? What in God? I believe in God, heaven, hell, sin and so forth.
I still think most people are going to hell. Me? yeah, most likely.
Karma and rebirth for me. No heaven and no hell. Sin? Well nobodies perfect.

This makes complete sense, I’ll convert to whatever the fuck religion this “engineer & author” is. But first, I’ll just make myself a PB&J sandwich. Son of a bitch, there’s NEW LIFE in this jar, and it’s tasty.
I was just testing to make sure I could embed again before I posted in the forums…
