Having grown up in a small rural farming community, it’s things like this that really bother me. Too many pissant little american boys touting this crap to feel like they fit in, or to attempt to fit into their fathers or families ideals.

I especially abhor the confusion of this with national pride. Not as an American that’s not national pride. Those are usually the Aryan jackasses that also spout off about getting out of our country etc. etc. I do believe that the indigenous peoples of this continent had more of a red or brown tinting to their skin, the fair skinned tribes all come from more European stock.

This symbolism and need to be a part of something bigger has preyed on far too many young, confused boys. Teaching someone to hate is a sad use of parenting or tutoring in general. I don’t say this as some liberal hippy priss, I hate plenty of things and people, but I came about these feelings on my own, by thinking for myself. Why can’t more people do that? Fuck getting along, why don’t we all just learn to ignore the people that piss us off and go on with our own lives. You know, like I’m doing right now by bitching and whining about nazism and racism in general.
