Well, I suppose that’s highly circumstance based. But a surprise encounter in the woods is more likely to be a moose than a predator. Last I was told at least.
Personally, if I was alone in the woods and had only a knife/spear, I’d rather encounter an angry bear or mountain lion than an angry/rutting moose. You can reason with bears and lions, but not with moose. But when I say encounter, I mean one finds me, before I find it. The other way around / if I have my bow, I’ll take the moose.
I am a journalist from the UK wondering where this picture or pix were taken and by who? any ideas and I could make it worth your while.
Thanks and all the best
