it’s called a Tanuki. It’s a japanese raccoon-dog, they show up in Japanese folklore a lot, Miyazaki even made a film earlier in his career about them. BTW, hi MCS. I’ve been a long time loiterer, finally got around to registering.
So this is the sort of thing that dances around in that video where a man in a similar animal costume and waves his GIANT balls at a little girl, with red riding hood costume? Someone must know what I am talking about and can post a link, if anyone wants 😛
I don’t know exactly what it is for – but I want it.
Kitsch is always good.

hi
It looks like taxidermist art to me. Pretty cool.
Reminds me of the crack fox from The Mighty Boosh.
thelastmadox: you beat me to it. My google-fu (and computer) is slow this morning.
Tanuki, japanese badger trickster guy, sort of like Coyote in Native American lore.
Supposedly has a giant scrotum and uses it to play tricks on travelers!
T. Robbins did a book with it as a character.
Shame it’s not grey. Metal Gear Solid joke would have been ripe.
@...thelastmadrox:
welcome!
@...mld:
how does one go about using their large scrotum to play tricks on people?
Assuming that you have a large scrotum. which I do not.

@...tiki god:
We are your scrotums.
Give us your orders Scroticus.
He will Fuck you UP!
It’s a poor stuffed tanuki. They use their balls to meteor into people from the air, among other things. Also shapeshifters.
BADASS!
Tiki,
I am not worthy of your attentions/mockery..
but yes, possessing a large scrotum is an opportunity for many possible pranks. According to Japanese folklore anyway.
As for the Japanese, as it has been oft-stated here, either we have nuked them far too much, or not nearly enough.
@...tiki god: Haven’t you seen Waiting?
a ninja raccoon!!! fuck, that’s my long desired dream pet!!!!
u made cry, thank u a lot 🙁
I don’t know why but looking at that reminds me of Samurai Champloo 😀
