@...mini-schnauzer: You can go to public school and still be good at math. Or maths as we call it. Maybe they should just add “please, don’t apply if you’re f***ing stupid.”
@...dieAntagonista: I did go to a public school though! And I did seven subjects for my leaving cert (= Abitur) so I couldn’t concentrate too much at mathematics. I’m doing a science course at university now, but I still like to think my German’s ok! I don’t know what an Irish accent sounds like in German…
@...joodles: Haha I just told you! Ciarán is Irish, obviously. It sounds awesome. I don’t think I like any other accents, or at least I haven’t heard any good ones. Yeah I see, I never had to concentrate on mathematics either, and until I was 17 or so I never thought much of it. But then, all of a sudden, after I read certain books I was like, hot damn. Mathematics is the shit. And caught up with becoming completely obsessed with it. But I do it just in my free time, so to say, since I’m taking classes in German, history and Latin.
@...dieAntagonista: Yeah it’s really satisfying working out something that seems almost impossible at first glance, and the order and the way that everything is based on simple rules is great, not like languages or life in general. My sister did history and German at university, she’s really good at languages, apparently when she’s speaking German she sounds like a German person, her accent is so good.

Jesus Christ. Absofuckinglutely! Woman, that is my philosophy. So you do have some sexy mathematics philosophy going on after all. I am pleased.
Yeah your sister sounds a lot like me. I grew up speaking 3 languages so everyone expected me to have an accent in German, though I never did. Not only that, but I can sound like an Austrian or like a German if I choose. It’s great. Except in English, I still have a massive accent. That’s why I need to spend a summer in England. It’s gonna be good.
@...dieAntagonista: Yeah, I’m really logical, I’ve been told I think like a guy, I find moody women just as annoying as guys do, and I don’t understand why women are sometimes just schizo and illogical. I like maths and science, but I also love art and music, I paint and draw, and play several musical instruments. I think it’s ok to like both logical things and artistic things. Law is good for that cause it’s logic and creativity too. You seem like you have perfect English, better than many people here! 😀 You’re by far the coolest person here too, and you’re a Girl… that’s just crazy.
@...joodles: Hey that sounds fantastic. Yeah, moody women are definitely just time consuming. I grew up in a town with only 1500 people or so, my best friend was the only girl I was friends with so that affected me for sure. I am a little conflict seeking though, but only because I like debates. I can definitely relate to what you said, and you even quoted Kanye that one time. You’re pretty darn cool yourself.
Also, I love English very much, and from what I’ve seen, the more you love something the better you’ll be at it.
Yeah, it’s kinda sad that the public schools up here in AK are actually teaching this in 4th and 5th grade now. Does this mean my nephew could apply for the job as well?

Do I still get a cookie?
+1 onternets and a Hydrox.
If that’s a fancy Oreo, thanx. 🙂
Hydrox is the original. Oreo is just a knock-off.
Why don’t they just post, “Publically educated inviduals need not apply.”
@...mini-schnauzer: You can go to public school and still be good at math. Or maths as we call it. Maybe they should just add “please, don’t apply if you’re f***ing stupid.”
She likes mathematics. This joodles individual is getting sexier by the hour.
@...dieAntagonista: I don’t LIKE mathematics, I’m just ok at algebra! Ich spreche auch ein bisschen Deutch! 😀 Go Europe?
@...joodles: Aw. That’s a shame. But acceptable. And very nice. I bet you have an adorable accent when you speak German. My friend Ciarán does.

Oh and I’m fooling around with German/ History/ Latin only to get into law school. I do love languages, but that’s just a hobby.

@...dieAntagonista: You think I’m cool! ^_^ I’ll quote any lyrics if they’re appropriate.
Wow, as much as I love dieAntagonista’s humor and array of knowledge…….you two need to get a room.
I would have thought a computer engineer would have to deal with problems slightly more advanced than this.
