When I got my first site job, my boss sent me to the tool shop for a “glass hammer”. The guy gave me a hammer-shaped advertising display thing from the window – basically a big glass light fitting with a neon bulb in it and ‘Draper’ written down the side. They were about to throw it out.

So they never tried to send me for ‘tartan paint’ or a ‘long weight’. 🙂

Also – a multi-meter with a searchable bible on it would sell out in seconds.
