@...kiltedforbes:
are you talking about the most recent season? when they’ve finally gotten away from the freak of the weak storylines? the one with the Legion of Tomorrow?
I’ve only seen this show through season 5 (It’s damned hard to find on the internet) but I’d say they dropped Freak of the Week around season 2, except for the occasional episode. The Freak of the Week episodes, when they do happen, are kind of a nice break at this point.

alright, it’s time to back away from the mead, cause dammit I can’t decide who has the pretetier mouth, him in this pic or the chikie in the previous pic…….
Then again, I’ve only heard him speak with a cheesy German accent voice so maybe he’s not that cute.
I’ve always liked all the guys who played some kind of superman. Especially the one in that series with Teri Hatcher. Man I loved that show. Good times.
I’ve seen every episode of this show, don’t know why. I guess I need a little schlock in my life.

This season has been OK. I mean the actor who played Lex Luthor quit, but I think they’ve written around that OK. Of course it was getting silly that every season finale had Lex almost die, because the actor was always threatening to quit. I really enjoyed Lex as a character though, and now there’s no bad guy. I don’t know about, er, Superlana (?), but I’ll tune in anyway.
I can’t watch this show anymore without shaking my head. The one rule for the series when it started was, “Clark Kent does not fly.” But since the original producers left with season 7, they’ve started to bend that rule and it’s a desperation move, and not the first one that could turn out to be Jump the Shark moment. The series when it started had some subtlety to it; now it plays like a bad teen soap opera. John Schneider knew when to get out. Annette O’Toole got wise a year later, and now Michael Rosenbaum has opted to maintain his dignity.
Really? No one wants to comment on how bad season 8 has been, alright, well I’ll be the one, it sucks, there I’m done.
